The Honorable
Helene M. Keeley
of the 3rd District Wilmington South was confirmed by the
Delaware State House of Representatives on January 21, 2009 as a member
of the Diamond State Board of Directors.
A dedicated public servant, Representative Keeley is currently serving her seventh term as State Representative. Her active leadership in the General Assembly earned her the important House Minority Whip position in 2006. Representative Keeley is also the Chairperson of the House Capital Infrastructure committee and the Vice Chair of the Revenue & Finance |

Committee. She also sits on the Economic Development, Banking, Insurance & Commerce as well as the Gaming & Pari-Mutuels committees. In addition, she serves as a Marketing Specialist for the Delaware Department of Labor. Representative Keeley is active in the local community. She serves as board Vice-Chair of the West Side Health - Hilltop Lutheran Neighborhood Center at the Claymore Senior Center, and is on the board of directors of the Delaware Theatre Co and the St. Patrick’s Day Society. Her list of honors and awards include the 2000 Robert J. Berndt Humanitarian Award, the 2001 Henry Toll Fellowship for Emerging Leaders Award, and the American Council of Young Political Leaders Award. |
