Dear Customer and Friend of the Port of Wilmington, Delaware,

RE:     TWIC Policy #03-09 re 30 Day Unescorted Access Extension to Individuals Awaiting Receipt of a Replacement TWIC, and
TWIC Policy #04-09 re Limited Equivalent Security Measure for Truck Drivers with HME on a CDL or FAST Card that have applied for a TWIC

The TSA has announced TWIC Policy #03-09 permitting unescorted access to secure areas of MTSA facilities for the Sector Delaware Bay, including the Port of Wilmington, Delaware to individuals who have reported their TWIC lost, damaged, or stolen to TSA, and have requested a replacement card within seven (7) days. This TWIC Policy will remain in effect until July, 15, 2009. For required documents and additional details please click to download TWIC Policy #03-09. 

The TSA has also announced TWIC Policy #04-09 allowing truck drivers to use their valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with an hazardous material endorsement (HME) or a Free and Secure Trade (FAST) credential, along with a proof of enrollment for a TWIC, to gain unescorted access to secure areas of the Port of Wilmington.
