Friday, May 28, 2010 Dear Customer and Friend of the Port of Wilmington: Re: TWIC Alert – Entire Port of Wilmington Designated Restricted Area Effective June 14, 2010, in accordance with Coast Guard requirements, the Port of Wilmington will revert back to an entirely restricted area. Therefore, non-TWIC holders requesting to gain access to the Port of Wilmington will be required to be escorted by a certified TWIC Escort while on the premises. Non-TWIC holders will be directed to enter the Port via Lane 6 at the Port’s main gate and meet their escort at the staging area located at the rear of the Robert F. Senseny Administration Building. Further, effective June 14, 2010, the DSPC will waive the $25.00 day-pass fee for non-TWIC truck drivers until further notice.
