Dear Customer and Friend of the Port of Wilmington:

Re: TWIC Alert – New Gate Procedures

Effective Monday, October 26, 2009 the guards on Terminal and Christiana Avenues will no longer be present.

Instead, signs will direct non-TWIC holders to the staging area located on Christiana Avenue. At the staging area, non-TWIC holders will make escort arrangements in order to enter the Port of Wilmington.

If a non-TWIC holder comes to the gate without an escort, he/she will be turned around and instructed to wait for their escort at the staging area.
